Kanam Local Government Aides Trade Words With Political Blackmail Group By Yakubu Busari,Jos
A group of Special Advisers in Kanam Local Government Area of Plateau state have traded words over the appointment of Poverty Alleviation Programme Coordinator a situation that has been causing confusion and creating factions among People Democratic Party supporters.
The Kanam Local Government Youths decried that the Plateau State Government imposed Mallam Yahuza Kyanshar while the Local Government Chairman has appointed Ishaq Audu earlier.
The Chairman aides alleged that the State Government Appointment of Yahuza Kyanshar was a deliberate attempt to set the Chairman to fight the government and that some few individuals who want to cause crisis did so to tarnish the good relationship of the Chairman with Governor Jonah David Jang .
The forum of Senior Special Assistants /Special Assistants to the Chairman of Kanam Local Government Council cautioned politicians against political propaganda and over hitting the polity that is capable of bridging the peaceful coexistence of our people.
The spokesman of the group , Mohammed Pangyirum who made this known in a press conference at National Star Headquarters Zarmaganda; condemned the falsehood of disgruntled elements and mischief makers whose stock in trade is to create factions among the peace loving people in their calculated attempt to blackmail the Executive Chairman of the Council ,Hon Yusuf Ado .
“We are here to put the records straight and to correct certain misgivings occasioned by some political gold diggers who are out to tarnished the image of the Chairman with sheer blackmail.
Pangyirum said, the group will offer total support to the PDP gubernatorial candidate of Sen .GNS Pwajok and his running mate Arc Yilji Gomwalk as well also to work as loyal supporters to the leadership of Governor Jonah David Jang.
He said that it is on record that the current noise making round the place is as a result of the various primaries conducted for elective positions in the council area, the House of Assembly, House of Representatives, Senate and the Governorship, he said.
Pangyirum noted that Hon. Yusuf Ado Danboyi is a product of a clean, transparent ,free and fair process through the great benevolence of God ,adding further he said; “we can therefore not subjugate ourselves to the whims and caprices of some desperate politicians who want to gain cheap relevant through satanic manipulations.”
He called on the President Goodluck Jonathan to have confidence that the people of kanam will deliver him block votes.
