The political atmosphere has been bastardized with a lack of politics or ideology and turning down party manifestos into character assassination or promotion of religion, tribalism, or regional politicking.

The chronicles of introducing kidnapping, bandits, and farmers/herders clashes to cause unnecessary upheaval to enable those occupying seats of government to pave way for stealing and looting of the national treasury.

OK, now that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, has flagged off the timetable for the electioneering campaign on 28th September 2022, the atmosphere is so dull and no campaign of issues based but silence, as the masses, have vowed never to vote for those who have to remain in the corridor of power siphoning the little resources and have their own story to mimics with.

The sudden quietness experience these few days from the kidnappers, marauders, and bandits between farmers/herders is a pointer that something’s fishing by our leaders to steal and spent, as well as also how the shot the nomination forms higher to prevent the masses from aspiring for elective positions. Thanks, to the coup in Chad, Burkina Faso, Mali, Senegal, and the Central Africa Republic which clearly shows Nigeria is sitting on gun power with the resources across the length and breadth of Nigeria, citizens are still wallowing in abject poverty, with high numbers of men and women’s occupying the major cities of Nigeria.

It is a demonstration that the cost of living had skyrocketed beyond the reach of citizens, yet those who are cut off from trading the path of religion were shouting and condemning the present regime yet they have raised the flags of religion crying and supporting their personal agenda either Muslim-Muslim ticket or the like of others who have looted Nigeria to develop Dubai emirate council, even their home states are ashamed to vote them.

Following the development, we the pulatorates are chasing the ideas of the rich class to help demarcate by raising the curtain of the barrier of hatred in our leadership to pursue. Nigeria operates the gimmick of religious acrimony to press on the demand of making the wrong choice of leaders at various levels, thereby underdeveloping ourselves.

The country is ranked as the most religious country in the world, yet the most corrupt country in the world, Nigerians don’t use their brains to turn around the good fortune for the benefit of all but to widen the gaps between the rich and the poor because those that have entered government since 1960 are the same group replacing themselves with their own children both at the state to the federal level, what a sad journey.
