Jos North Legislative Arm Impeach Executive Council Exco, Threatens Chairman Hon. Shehu Bala

the Council Chairman Hon. Bala Shuaibu for outright misconduct and conniving with the council Chairman to siphon and denied them bye-election funds meant for the Jos North /Bassa Federal constituency bye Election.

The members of the legislative arm after the impeachment saga embark on fresh elections to elect,  New Exco , Hon. Sylvester Ari. Kwapnoe as Majority Leader, Hon. Zakayau Talle as. Chief Whip to head legislative arm.

The alleged misconduct by the  Chief whip, Majority leader was removed by the Jos North Legislative arm of the council for misconduct on Tuesday in Jos as they accused them of supporting the Chairman to divert money main for election.

The information alleged that the executive council Exco was loyal to the Chairman, Hon.Shehu Usman Bala said the funds released for the electioneering campaign didn’t reach them, but alleged that the Chairman and his Exco sad down to share the campaign money.

However, our medium gathered that the aggrieved members of the APC, legislative arm took the step to register their displeasure over the non-availability of public funds main for each wards councilors.

The impeachment threat on the executive council is a signal sent to the APC chairman of Jos and Chairman of North LGA that all is not well with the administration in the council.

“You would recall that the Izalatul block went ahead to anoint a candidate of Alh . Mohammed Adams Gwani against  Governor Simon Bako Lalong, candidate Hon Joseph Abbey Aku in the bye-election to frustrate his candidature.

Hon .Shehu Usman Bala who enjoys the support of Lalong in the just concluded LGs poll forced the APC into overwhelming defeat as the government candidate but the PRP candidate Hon . Mohammed Adams Gwani alias Dan London was not just frustrated, but defeated beyond political recognition.

The councilors have given their individual reasons why they work against the APC fold in the bye-election, that funds main to be distributed went into few hands.

According to the aggrieved members of the councilors, the plan to deal with the chairman of the council whose unalloyed support for the Governor is triggering the anger is still a pain in their hearts.

The political brouhaha is gradually gathering momentum that with a singular act the APC might lose the state in the state because even the Hausa /Fulani supporters have betrayed the government trust.
