The management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council ,Hon Shehu Usman has restated his administration desire to work closely with the traditional institutions for the overall development of the council.
Usman stated this when he led the House leader ,council secretary and Councillors including management staff of the council to paid homage to the Ujah of Anaguta , HRH, Jauro Magaji at his palace inJos .
The chairman said he was at the palace to seek for his Royal blessings as pledged his allegiance to the Royal father and he commended his steadfast and commitment of the Royal father in unifying the people of the area .
He prayed God Almighty to continue to see him throughout the period of mantle of leadership to protect lives and properties of residents of Jos North LGA .
While responding to the Chairman ,His Royal Highness ,Ujah Anaguta ,Jauro Magaji also commended the imitative of the management committee chairman for taken time out of his tide scheduled to embark of visitations .
According to him , the Chairman ,Hon Shehu Usman had respect for the traditional institutions especially within the short period of his appointment to manage the affairs of the council
Magaji described the Chairman as a focused motivated and skillful and resource person but the lean resources on ground will limit him for the step taking to work with all asundry to achieve meaningful development of the council.
The Royal father explained further that Jos North is a miniature Nigeria and he advised the Chairman to take the issue of peace as one of the cardinal point of his administration.
He added that the peace of Jos North alone is a peace of Plateau state and he urged the people of the state to continue to leave peace with one another for them to attract investors to the state.
