President Goodluck Jonathan has approved the appointment of the Immediate-past Chairman of Peoples Democratic Party, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur as Chairman of the Nigerian Railway Corpration.
Also approved was the appointment of Dr. Ghaji Ismaila Bello as Director-General, National Population Commission.
In a terse statement signed by the Special Assistant (Media) to the secretary to the Government of the Federation, Sam Nwaobasi on Tuesday said both appointments took effect from January 8, 2014.
