Jolly Nyame Escape Lynching At Zing His Home Town By Tom Garba,Yola
The former Governor of Tarab state, Rev Jolly Nyame escaped the beating of his life at his home town, zing yesterday for suggesting to the people of the area to vote for APC whenever the re-run of the affected areas that made the governorship election in Taraba state inconclusive.
One of the Youth who was among those that had a meeting with the former Governor in Zing and alsoa Youth leader in Yakoko village, Adams James told our correspondent that, Jolly’ Political career is dying hence he no longer have any influence to his immediate constituency, today they are calling him with all sorts of vulgar names saying” PDP must rule Taraba whether he like it or not, he defected to APC without the knowledge of any body because he want to use their votes for his personal political ambition .
“Unlike before when Jolly dictates to our people and all must obey its now done on him that he no longer have any political relevance in his home town, he has all the opportunity to help our people but did not even when he a three times governor of the state, people are now political fed up with him, if not because he run away they would have lynched without any fear of his personality.
He wants the people of Zing to vote for APC because they promised him a ministerial appointment”. Adams said
It’s all glaring yesterday when visited he the town of zing, people especially youths are seen in a cluster groups discussing the level of backwardness Nyame brought to them when he was a governor, they promised to see that his mission is frustrated preferring to vote for PDPagainst his wish.
Aliyu is a youth seen fuming his anger accusing Jolly of a bad and selfish person that only concern about himself, that he defected to APC because the party is gaining ground all over the country, so we vowed to fail APC and PDP will form a government in Taraba state so whatever looking for through our votes he never get it.
These accusations are coming on the former governor as results of pronouncement of just concluded gubernatorial elections by INEC to be inconclusive, alleging that Jolly has unofficially decamped to APC and looking for a ministerial appointment.
Our investigation revealed that Jolly is always in the house of APC gubernatorial candidate, Hajiya Aisha Jummai Alhassan, even yesterday (Wednesday) was in her house before she left for Abuja as the youth leader of Aisha ,Abubakar Bala Maina confirmed to our correspondent that Jolly has being supporter of his principal woman.
