A Joint Operations led by the Nigeria Army, The Police including all the Paramilitary, Vigilante groups, and Hunters in the Local Government areas carried out joint rescue Operations to ensure the raid of those Arm Bandit and rescuing the kidnapped victims and the general security of the area.
The Joint Operations took place early hours. 11/01/22 from 0600hrs – 1500hrs.
In the cause of the Operations, the wife of the Deputy Chief of Staff to Plateau State Government who was said to have been kidnapped on Sunday evening at her residence was rescued along with one (1) Medical Doctor of Nakowa Hospital in Barkin Ladi who was also kidnapped on 10/01/22 was also rescued today 11/01/22 during the joint Operations at about 1145hrs.
A Dead body of a 13 years old girl who was raped along Bokkos Road with a stick inserted into her private part was found today during the joint Operations.
Five (5) Bandits suspected to be Fulanis and some according to their confession are from Tafawa Balewa areas in Bauchi State were also arrested during the joint Operations (Pictorial evidence above).
The suspects are still in the custody of the Nigeria Army, Sector 4 Operation Safe Heaven Barkin Ladi for further interrogation.
