JNI Felicitates With Muslims All Over The World Over This Year’s Eid – El – Adhaa
Allah, the Exalted says: Say (O Muhammad PBUH) “Verily my Salaat (prayer), my sacrifice, my living, and my dying are for Allah, the Lord of the Alamin (mankind, jinn, and all that exists). Q6:162.
Jama’atu Nasril Islam (JNI), under the leadership of its President-General, His Eminence, Alhaji Muhammad Sa’ad Abubakar, CFR, mni, felicitates with all the Muslims, across the globe over this year’s Eid-el-Adhaa, we beseech Allah, the Most Gracious and the Most Merciful to record us in the register of those whom He will accept their respective sacrifices and all forms of worship done in these sacred days. Indeed Allah needs neither the blood of our sacrifices nor the flesh of our respective rams. It is all about the sincerity, humility, obedience, sacrifice, simplicity and submissiveness to the Most Exalted, as exemplified by Prophet Isma’il upon hearing the dream of his father Prophet Ibrahim (Peace be Upon Them all).
Therefore, as Muslims, the month of Dhul-Hijjah which Allah, the Most High swore with “…by the ten nights, the even and odd (contrasted), and by the night when it passes away…”Q89:1-5, has come and about going, with tomorrow marking the Arafah day, wherein the Prophet (SAW) stated that fasting it “expiates the sins of the previous year and the coming year” Sunan Ibn Majah – 1730. While the narration of Imam Muslim in his Sahih states that the messenger of Allah (SAW) said “There is no day on which Allah frees more people from the Fire than the day of Arafat”. Hence, Nigerian Muslims are once again reminded of the Arafah day fasting holding tomorrow in-sha’Allah. We should equally not forget the Dhikr of the day of Arafah(constant remembrance of Allah, the Most High by glorifying Him and thanking Him), i.e. Laailaahaillallaahu, wahdahu laasharikalaahu, lahul-mulku walahul-hamdu, wahuwa ‘alaa kullishay’inqadeer. Meaning: None has the right to be worshipped except Allah, alone, without partner. To Him belongs sovereignty and all praise and He is over all things omnipotent.
While we wish all brethren an accepted sacrifice – Taqaballaahu Minnaa Waminkum (may Allah, the Exceedingly Merciful accept from you and us the devotion), Muslim faithful should as well be vigilant on security matters and be mindful of the CoViD-19 and Delta Variants.
By and large, the ongoing measures to curtail the security challenge in Nigeria by the government should be sustained with all the necessary hardware to outstrip criminals’ strength. We also implore governments across board to swiftly act more and talk less on the hassle.
May the bounties of Allah (SWT) continue to come our ways in peace, harmony and tranquility. May He as well in His infinite mercy bring an end to the nagging insecurity bedeviling our dear country. Aamin.
Eid-el-AdhaMubarak in advance.
