Jigawa Women Must Be Properly Screened For 2022 Hajj

The Jigawa State Pilgrims welfare board said it has vaccinated 531 intending pilgrims who paid their money for the 2020 and 2021 Hajj.

The Director of Operation of the Jigawa State Pilgrims Welfare Board Alhaji Ahmed Umar Labbo who represented the acting director of the board Allah Mustapha Umar Babura stated this in an exclusive interview in his office yesterday.

He assured that this year is guaranteed that the pilgrims will perform the prayer at Holy Land Mecca, Hajj which was interrupted for good two years because of Coronavirus.

He explained further that very soon the federal government will announce this year’s hajj fare to enable the state to collect money from intending pilgrims.

He assured that proper screaming will be conducted right from the ward level, local government down to the state to fish out any woman with pregnancy.
