The Jigawa state government has advised parents in the state to maintain a high level of vigilance in monitoring the movements of their children.
The advice became necessary as a result of some reported cases of missing children in some local government areas of the state.
Consequently, the Government is conscious of the security and wellbeing of its citizens in the state and will continue to provide maximum protection to the people.
In this regard, suspicious moments of unknown people within the community should be reported to the nearest security agencies.
The government assured that all relevant government organs and other stakeholders are working assiduously to safeguard the lives and properties of the people of Jigawa State.
This was contained in a statement signed by Alhaji Habibu Nuhu Kila Special Adviser to the Jigawa state governor on Media and Public Relations which was made available to our reporter in Dutse.
