Jigawa Police Command Arrested Gang Of Armed Robbers Terrorizing Ringim Council

The police in Jigawa State have arrested a gang of armed robbers syndicates terrorizing Ringim local Government and environs.

 

Ringim locals have been known for their peaceful nature for decades until recently when some groups of criminals disturbed the peaceful environment.

 

The legislative council of the local government had recently approved the ban of Motorcycle movements after 12:00 AM to address the activities of criminalities in the area.

 

Police Spokesman of the command ASP Lawan Shiisu Adam said, the command has succeeded in arresting two members of the gangs after series of operations.

 

According to him “one Idris Sa’idu of Fanisau town Ungogo LGA Kano State was arrested when he and his gang members were pursued by police operatives after entering into the house of one Umar Fasaha of unguwar maina Ringim town while the other gang members escaped”

 

“Also one Abubakar Adamu of Tsungur village has been arrested in connection with the Armed robbery that took place on 26/7/2021  at the residence of one Hannatu Bashir of Nasarawa quarters, Ringim”

 

He explained that during interrogation, the suspects confessed that other gang members have been terrorizing Ringim town and environs.

 

Adam said an effort is in progress to arrest the fleeing gang members.

 

The command, therefore, urged the residents to provide police with any useful information that will help in arresting the criminals.
