Jigawa Nomadic Education The Best In The Country-Executive Secretary

The Acting Executive Secretary of the Jigawa Nomadic Education Hajiya Ramatu Muhammed has disclosed that the Jigawa Nomadic Education is the best the country, she stated this in an interview with our reporter in her office.

 

she said the Nomadic education in Nigeria established under decree no 12 of 1989 of the Nigerian constitution acts 48 also established under section 12 of the Jigawa state constitutional acts.

 

She said Jigawa state is leading in the country in the area of Nomadic education compared to another state in the federation in terms of enrollment of Fulani pupils in all nomadic schools in the state.

 

She explained further that over 8,947 pupils we’re enrolled in nomadic schools across the 27 local government areas where they have the schools in the state.

 

she added that no fewer than 22 communities are moving from one place to another because of flood disaster which some time submerged their Hamlets.

 

She also commented that governor Badaru Abubakar for the construction of 353 nomadic schools all over the state which contained 418 classes.

 

Hajiya Ramatu explained that 397 nomadic schools are currently operating under trees while 224 nomadic schools are operating under shelter classes.

 

“We collaborate with the ministry of water resources, ministry of Agriculture and information as well as the ministry of women affairs to promote Nomadic Education in the state” she stated.

 

” We want also to review our educational curriculum to introduce the issue of farmers’ hardmen peace conflict resolution to educate the young Nomadic pupil to eradicate the issue of conflicts between the two communities in the state” she explained.
