Jigawa Award Billion Naira Contracts For Water /Health Projects

The Jigawa State government has awarded contract for the supply of diesel to all water station across the 27 local council in the State.

 

The State Commissioner of Information Alhassan Muhammed disclosed that to newsmen in Dutse shortly after the Executive Council Meeting held at the government house in Dutse.

 

He further said that the Jigawa State Government awarded the contract to seventeen companies at the cost of N1, 166,943,340 billion for the whole year to ensure adequate supply of water supply in the state.

 

The commissioner further stated the Jigawa State Government also awarded two more additional contracts for the completion of two General Hospitals at Garki and Buji local Government respectively.

 

The commissioner said the additional work at Gantsa general hospital in Buji local Government will gulp the sum of N1, 988, 306, 29.8.

 

The other contract which was awarded for the completion of Garki General Hospital was initially awarded at the cost of N493, 853,375 will now the sum of N198, 809,629.8 for the completion of the projects all in a bid to improve the health sector in the State.
