Yakubu Busari

A former FCT Minister, Lgt Jeremiah Timbut Useni has unanimously endorsed Dr Nentawe Yilwatda Gotshe, the gubernatorial candidate of the APC as the next governor of Plateau State come Saturday 18th March 2023.

Emmanuel Mecham, JP Spokesman  PDP Plateau State under the leadership of Sen Jeremiah Useini disclosed this in Jos , saying his principal considering the forthcoming gubernatorial and State Houses of Assembly elections which are coming up in a few hours from now as timely.

I have been directed by the critical stakeholders of the PDP Plateau State and under the able leadership of Sen Jeremiah Useini to address the press on certain far-reaching decisions that have been taken in the best of Plateau state.

The stakeholders considered the prolonged legal tussles and landmark judgments by the court against the PDP and non-compliance with valid court judgments, and we have come to the conclusion that we cannot continue to risk our future and that of our teeming supporters by keeping them in limbo. In arriving at this decision, we considered also the inconclusive and fail negotiations between interest groups within the PDP in Plateau State.

After carefully studying the political reality and the need to have a very proactive, focused and responsive government in Plateau State, the leaders and critical stakeholders of the PDP Plateau State under the leadership of Sen Jeremiah Useini have unanimously endorsed Dr Nentawe Yilwatda Gotshe, gubernatorial candidate of the APC as the next governor of Plateau State come Saturday 18th March 2023.

Accordingly, we wish to inform our teeming supporters across the state to cast their votes for him accordingly.

In arriving at this decision, we believe that the future of Plateau state requires intelligent and very accommodative leadership that will unite our people who have been bitterly divided across ethnic, religious and other primordial lines.

Accordingly, all our youth and women groups as well as other stakeholders are enjoined to cast their votes for Dr Nentawe Yilwatda Goshwe and conduct themselves peacefully throughout the period of voting and indeed thereafter.
