Following the embroiled crisis rocking the People Democratic Party PDP, Plateau State chapter, former Governor Jonah David Jang and Lt General Jeremiah Useni have distanced them from the caretaker committees.
The two former Military officers expressed dissatisfaction that they are fed up with the continue crisis in the party were some desperate office seekers dragging them into confusion.
It was gathered that Sen. Jang also chased away YAKUBU CHOCHO led faction at his residence in Du leaving them in disarray because he doesn’t want them using his name for their cheap political blackmail.
The 28 man caretaker committee who constituted themselves into a political nuisance to the progress of the party in plateau state was highly disappointed to see dissatisfaction registered in the mind of a political general.
Sources who confided in us and an eye witness said Sen Jonah Jang couldn’t hide his displeasure even in the midst of crowd, who also visited the elder statesman; he was heard asking Hon Chocho and others to leave his house.
Since Chocho assume the leadership of the party he has never visited or seek for any advice from the elder statesman and former Governor of the state for once.
The sources said Jang was infuriated by the shabby wards Congresses manipulated by the Chocho leadership and his inability to carry alone critical stakeholders in the affairs of the party.
Jang clearly told Chocho and others that they are on their own.
Our sources said Chocho couldn’t utter a word as the angrily Jang left them standing.
Our sources from the state SECRETARIAT said since Chocho assume leadership of the party, the only individuals he listens and confide in them are those servicing him.
One of his personal assistants recently chatted on social media calling on party leaders to purchase car for the former Chairman whom he said has been using an old Vectra saloon car all this while.
Jang hasn’t hide his displeasure over the way the party is in shambles the sources said.
Sen Jang recently told stakeholders of Jos south why they couldn’t manage themselves to the extent of castigating each other in public about the ward congress in the LGA.
Meanwhile, information available to this medium also said that Useni also dissociated himself from group parading themselves as care taker committee by calling on the leadership to come and reposition the party.
It appears all is not well with politicians in plateau state as they are all looking for cheap popularity through Jang and useni because they’re gradually realizing the antics of their supporters.
