Jang PDP Faction Reschedules State Congress Indefinitely

The People Democratic Party,(PDP ) Plateau state chapter led by the former Governor, Sen Jonah David Jang, Sen Istisfanus Gyang, and Hon Beni Lar have rescheduled their earlier state congress by it extending by additional one month.

 

The Chairman of Langtang North Local Government Council, Hon Ubandoma Joshua Laven who is in charge of mobilization disclosed that Congress can’t any longer hold owning to the unspeakable reasons above.

 

The wards, LGs Congresses which was unconcluded and full of pending litigation numbering to over 44 cases in federal and state high court respectively.

 

The information available to our medium revealed that supporters across the 17 LGs were mobilized to unidentified locations but were left stranded waiting for the last call to start moving to Jos, the Plateau state capital.

 

The entire power tussles have thrown the state chapter into political drama creating tension and hatred between General Jeremiah Useni, Sen Ibrahim Nasiru Mantu, Damishi Sango supporters, and that of the former Governor Jonah David Jang camps.

 

However, our reporters gathered Hon Yakubu Chocho whose tenure expired on the 10th August 2020 are still fighting hard to ensure that they conducted the state Congress to reap benefit for themselves.

 

This medium gathered that since the party lost the 2015 general election PDP has lost focus and balance of power grip exchanging blackmail and blame games as well as threatening each other over the selfish and self-center government of 16 years of stewardship.

 

The politics of Plateau state is gradually returning the party towards the ethnic party and tribal blackmail is looming around key players.
