Candidates for 2017 Joint Admission and Matriculation Board in Nasarawa State has lamented over the process of accessing pin for the ongoing process.
The candidates called on the National Assembly to come to their aid following the untold hardship they are passing through with the ongoing Pin finding exercise.
Hundreds of the candidates were seen at selected banks in Nasarawa such as United Bank for Africa (UBA ) Stanbic Bank, Unity Bank and Syke Bank, most of the candidates are complaining of lack of pin as they are exposed to danger.
The state Coordinator, Moses Akogu in his reaction confided that the major challenges of the pin verification is the constraint in having access to pin; Akogu said the pin verification has seriously tackled the crisis of middlemen hijacking the whole system.
Akogu while fielding question from cross section of Journalists at his office said Nasarawa state has 19 CBT centres, it could be recalled that in 2016 candidates protest over the hardship they passed through during registration.
The candidates called for concern as candidates were seen hanging under scorching sun, a Jamb staff who spoke to universalreporters247.com expressed dismay over the new policy which he described as anti-people policy.
He said Jamb forms are costly now unlike before when the form was sold at N4000 while presently it is being for N6000 excluding money required by candidates, he lamented the high level of extortion by Jamb authorities.
