J-Town Ambassadors Harp On Early Warning And Early Response Of How Crisis Spark To Massacre In Plateau

The Chairman of J-Town Ambassador,Alh Sule Abubakar has harped on the need for Plateau residents to avoid reprisal attacks and adhere strictly to the early warning and early response on highways to prevent loss due to unnecessary deaths.
Abubakar was represented by the JTown PRO, Salis Muhammad Abdulsalam at the Dadin Kowa Youth Centre on Friday said Plateau residents have to promote peaceful coexistence amongst us.
He emphasized that the Plateau people are very peaceful and accommodating, we schooled here on Plateau, we enjoy the spirit of oneness amongst us, but why is society gradually becoming a problem with so much hatred for one another.
Sule Abubakar disclosed that they came together to ensure that their children benefit from the past unity that they got in the 70s, 80s, and 90s which is 50 years down the line, now the state is more shattered.
We didn’t recognize ethnicity, religion, we mingled together and now we are very worried over incessant attacks, kidnapping especially violence amongst the residents of Plateau people.
Abubakar reiterated that the association deemed it necessary to embark on Peacebuilding as ambassadors, we don’t have any other home apart from Plateau state where our parents all lived and developed mutual respect and understanding for each other.
According to him, we are not strangers, these are Nigerians who love their beloved country and have sacrificed enough to keep this country one, we must consider how to dictate early warning and early response of how to tackle conflicts in Plateau.
Arc. Sule Umar admonished the people of the state, especially the youth, to imbibe the culture of tolerance, love, and encourage togetherness, we must live as one family, stressing that Jos is one of the most peaceful states in Nigeria and that all tribes come into the state.
He explained further that we must develop a culture of allowing our children to interact with others so that they would feel the impact of each other and build love and understanding within them.
Also Dr. Prince Charles Dickson while speaking frowned at a situation where soldiers are sighted across all streets in Nigeria.
He said, spreading of wrong information and lack of proper communication has worsened the insecurity in Nigeria, we are a member of one family no matter what but people have failed to realize.
Dickson’s noted for Jos to regain back her lost glory, people just learned to love one another, accept to see each other as one indivisible entity because we are one Nigeria.
