The chairman Ulam’u Council of Jama’atu Izalatul Bid’a Wa’ikamatis Sunah, Sheikh  Sani Yahaya Jingir, has emphasized that the current security challenges bedevilling Nigeria was due to the collapse of the Nigerian security which has been paving way to the persistent insurgency in the country.
The Islamic cleric who stated this on Tuesday while being interviewed on the recent Improvised Explosive Device (IED), found around the vicinity of his house, said insecurity was the major problem in Nigeria as at now.

Asked by correspondent on whether the bomb was intentionally meant to kill thinking that he has written a book that contradicts the principles of Boko Haram, he said, ” no, the IEDs was also meant to kill other innocent Nigerians around the area and not me alone, even though it kept along my usual way to the mosque. Insecurity has become the country’s major problem and this is resulted to the failure of our security system.”
Asked on whether there would be problem during forthcoming election, the cleric said, “I disagree with those with the opinion that the 2015 is going to be violent. It is going to be peaceful “, he added.

Jingir however advocated the system of voting and waiting for election result, explaining that such would help to protect the votes of Nigeria.
