Imo PDP Protests Alleged Injustice Of Supreme Court

The members, lovers, supporters and political admirers of the People’s Democratic Party, PDP, in Imo State,  was on last Thursday, Jan.30th 2020,gathered at Ugwu-Ekwema Civic Center off Egbu road Owerri, the capital city of Imo State, in demonstration, demanding the Supreme Court of Nigeria to as a matter justice,  re-declared Chief Emeka Ihedioha as the authentic Governor of the state.

 

The Imo PDP protesters who displayed their angers, wore black attires all through, as they lampooned the Supreme Court for bringing injustice to the land of Imo.

 

At the protest, the PDP’s demonstrated against what they tagged as injustice melted against the good people of Imo State and their Guber Candidate,  Chief Emeka Ihedioha, who according to them convincely  won all his rivals during the 2019 Imo Guber polls held, conducted and declared as Imo Governor by the INEC.

 

Speaking to newsmen, the Imo PDP State Deputy Chairman,Sir.Martins Ejiogu, who is at the moment the Acting State Chairman of the party, since the official resignation of the PDP Chairman in Imo State, Barr.Charles Ezekwem.

 

The Acting PDP Chairman, Sir.Ejiogu, who was supported by all the party leadership, expressed optimisms that the Supreme Court would reverse the unworthy and unacceptable declaration of the Imo APC Guber Candidate, Sen.Hope Uzodinma, who came 4th during the 2019 Imo Guber polls, according to INEC, but expressed disappointment by the injustice from the Court.

 

 

“We are watching and waiting for the Supreme Court to review and reverse the declaration of Sen.Uzodinma, of APC who stole the mandate of Chief Emeka Ihedioha, of the PDP. We are fighting and protesting against the injustice from the Supreme Court. It must be looked into it”,Ejiogu pointed out.

 

Also, Speaking,  the immediate past Secretary to the Govt.of Imo State, Barr.Uche Onyeagucha, expressed optimism that Chief Emeka Ihedioha would be declared winner as Imo Governor in no distant time, even as he appealed to Imolites  and members of Imo PDP to remain prayerful, calm and patient.
