The government of Imo State through the Owerri Capital Development Authority (OCDA) on Monday, Nov.29th, 2021, sealed all the houses that were wrongfully or illegally erected at the old shell camp quarters.
The operation was personally carried out by the GM of OCDA, Engr. Francis Chukwu, in a bid to restore the Owerri master plan and implement the recent recommendations of the white paper on recovery.
Carrying out the implementation, many serving top officials of the current government and allies of the governor were affected, but the governor has maintained that he would remain impartial no matter who was affected.
