Last Saturday, August 10th 2019,all roads lead to the Party Secretariat of the All Progressives Grand Alliance, APGA, along Egbu Road Owerri, for the birthday celebration of the Imo APGA State Party Chairman, Hon.Prince Dr.Henry Uzor Okafor,aka Lion of the Tribe of Oil Kingdom.
His 2019 Birthday (Party) Ceremony was said to be organized and coordinated by some of his political fans, lovers,party members and supporters of the party,especially from the office of the Party State Youth Leader, Comr. Williams Opara.
In birthday jamboree which took place at the Party Secretariat attracted many respected political leaders of Imo APGA,top high ranking officers of the party,including the party leadership.
The entire youths of the party where
eminently present, as they trooped out in their large numbers to birthday celebration of the Party State Chairman, Prince Okafor.
Speaking, the celebrant, Prince Henry, expressed delight and thanksgiving to God for addition of another year into his life.
The APGA Party Boss, while speaking further said “I am alive today by the special grace, love and power of the Most High God. My political detractors are now ashamed of themselves, because they do not want my progress but to God be the glory, that I am doing better in the lives of the living”.
On the leadership management, growth and expectations of the party, Dr.Okafor said that Imo APGA under his mandate, shall take over the mantle of leadership from Gov.Emeka Ihedioha,from the court in no distant time, even as he (the Party Chairman) disclosed that victory would be for APGA from the expected 2019 guber tribunal verdict.
He therefore commended the party governorship candidate, Sen.Ifeanyi Araraume,for his zeal,seriousness and sagacity towards reclaiming his guber mandate through the law court.
“We are very hopeful to entering the Imo Govt.House. We are coming to Recovery all that was lost in Imo via Sen.Araraume’s Recovery Mission policy. It is not yet over in the case of the last Imo Guber polls. APGA is coming to rule Imo in full force. We are very much on ground. Let all the members of APGA remain steadfast”, he appealed.
Hon.Okafor, however called on Imo INEC to bring out the authentic and actual election results sheets to the court, insisted that APGA won the last election exercise held in Imo State as a very strong party with evidences to tender for justice.
He described the present APGA under his watch as a political party for all Imo youths.
“I am running an all-inclusive leadership of an automatic wide open door policy for everyone in the state. Come, join hands, let’s make APGA great again and also make Imo State a better State”, he called.
