Imo 2019: Orlu Zone Collapses For Ohakim, Accord Party, Takes Campaign Rally Deeper

The people of Orlu zone extraction of Imo State comprises of 12 LGA’s,especially the Traditional Rulers in the area,have collectively assured that they must surely support and vote for the Imo State Accord Party Governorship candidate, Chief Dr. Ikedi Godson Ohakim, come March 2nd 2019 governorship polls.

The political tsunami which took place on Tuesday,Feb.5th 2019 at the popular APA playground Amaifeke in Orlu LGA of Imo State,attracted so many political juggernauts, stakeholders and stalwarts and many people under various platforms and organizations which no one could be able to count that trooped out enmass from across the 12 LGA’s of Orlu in solidarity for Chief Ohakim during official campaign rally flagoff for the people of the area.

Those (Accord Party Candidates for various positions) presented to the people of Orlu includes:the Accord Party Senatorial Candidate for Orlu zone,Barr.Kelechi Solomon Nnadi, the Orlu State Assembly candidate under Accord Party,Hon.Franklyn Tochukwu Mbidom,the Accord Party House of Reps.candidate for Orlu,Orsu and Oru-East,Hon.Chief Samuel Chimezie Orji,and the House Reps.for Nkwerre,Njaba,Isu and Nwangele,Hon.Chief Nze Chinasa Madumere, and the Ideato South State Assembly Candidate,Barr.Calistus Ihejirika,amongst other candidates of Accord Party,too numerous to mention.

Speaking to the mammoth crowd in Orlu, the Imo immediate past Governor and the Imo Accord Party Guber Candidate,Chief Dr. Ikedi Ohakim, expressed satisfaction to take his 2019 campaign rally to Orlu zone extraction of Imo State and assured that his govt.must offer industrial development to them,if given the opportunity to serve as Imo Governor in 2019.

Chief Ohakim while addressing them  said Imo State under his watch must be fix through a man who have been is tested and trusted with leadership experience as Governor.

“I  will attract industrial development in Orlu zone. Imo State should not be handed over to an inexperienced person. I am the best to fix and recover Imo State. I want to solve the succession quagmire in Imo. I have only 4 years. I am the candidate of equity. God wanted to use me to wipe away tears of Imo people. I have sworn a covenant affidavit. I am going to make Orlu the development hub. I will build refinery.  I  was a Governor of every zone. I worked for everybody. I am coming to finish and conclude my tenure. I will bring the Clean and Green Initiative. To build one factory each for every LGA. I will hook Imo to the National grip. You need an experienced person like. I will bring back all businesses. I want the Traditional Rulers of Orlu to vote for me and vote for AccordParty. You should also I am coming to led a legacy. We are going to restructure Nigeria”,Dr.Ohakim submitted.

“Vote for me,vote for Accord Party. Imo as a broken state at the moment needs a qualified mechanic to repair and fix. Our dear state does not need an experimental leader rather we need an experienced leader like Ohakim to restore,recover and revive the economy which the APC government led by the outing Imo Governor,Rochas Okorocha,for the past 7-8 years have crippled. I will bring back the 10,000 jobs,reinstate the Clean and Green Initiative (Environmental policy),recapture the Orlu Master Plan,add value and reinforce all the sub-standards projects ( China Projects) of Governor Okorocha and make them original. I will build crude oil refineries in Orlu zone. I am ready to establish at least one industry per local government. I am not a greedy man. I will serve Imo with the last blood of my life and I will kick out poverty from Imo State”,he reassured.

Speaking on behalf of the Council of Traditional Rulers in Orlu zone at his places when Chief Ohakim and his campaign crew paid the Royal Fathers a courtesy visit,the Traditional Ruler of  Umueze Autonomous Community in Orlu LGA, HRH Eze C.I.Ihejirika,(Ezedike I) Umueze,expressed delight on the arrival of Chief Ohakim,which he described as part of recognition and respect to the Traditional and Culture.

Eze Ihejirika,while speaking recommended Dr.Ikedi and extolled his leadership courage and Governorship bid to return to serve Imo State as Governor.

“You are a decent man of honor and respect with reasonable ans sound character. We shall all support your guber ambition in 2019. Your government in the past years ago touched all the communities in Imo positively in one way or the other. The Royal Father however appealed to all the Traditional Rulers in Orlu to support Ohakim,even as they joined hands in prayer for his guber aspiration,come March 2nd 2019”,Eze Ihejirika said.

The Monarch therefore told all those following and supporting Ohakim to remain steadfast and ensure they delivered him as Imo Governor in 2019.

The Orlu custodians of culture and tradition moreso collectively endorsed Chief Ohakim and wished him victory in the forthcoming polls.
