The Igbo Community Welfare Association, ICWA, has endorsed Peter Obi ,/Ahmed Datti for President, Barr.Gyang Zi for Plateau Northern Senatorial District, Hon .Daniel Asama Jos North/Bassa Federal constituency and the Jos North/West candidate by urging the electorate to vote Labour Party from top to bottom in Saturday’s general elections.
Speaking during the commissioning and endorsement of candidates of LP at Igbo Welfare Community Association, Secretariat on Friday ,Chief Achi expressed concern with the manner the country is been governed by selfish and greedy politicians.
He appealed to all the Igbos residents in Plateau State to come out en mass for Obi/Datti candidates to help salvage Nigeria from the problem of insecurity and bad leadership.
Sam Achi lamented that the 25th February, 2023 general elections are not just going to be peaceful but is going determine the faith of a new country where the country would become producing nation instead of a consumption
Chief Sam Achi said the election is going to be peaceful as he employs the youth to imbibe the spirit of tolerance and eschew politics of bitterness during and after the exercise .
He stressed that the townhall meeting of the who is who among the Igbos in Plateau State is to endorse the candidacy of all the Labour Party candidates and charge the electorate to ensure that they emerge victorious.
The Candidate for the Jos North /Bassa Federal Constituency, Hon .Daniel Asama commended the Igbo’s for their positive contribution to the economy of Plateau State .
He described Igbos as industrious people that have impacted to the development of the state and added value to the well-being of the state.
Asama said if given the mandate they are going to replicate the same gesture in boosting and transforming of the commercial hub of the state.
Barr .Gyang Zi said the endorsement of the Igbo today is a sign that he is one of the most popular and acceptable candidate .
He commended the Igbo community for finding him a worthy ambassador to represent them in the red chamber, what they’ve demonstrated shows us the sign more dividends of democracy.
