Igala Student Association University Of Jos Chapter Denies Endorsing Governor Yahaya Bello

The Igala Students Association of University of Jos has denied endorsing Governor Yahaya  Bello of Kogi state second tenure bid adding that the talk of supporting by them are baseless allegations perpetuated by some mischief makers to cause confusion amongst the students Union in Plateau state.

 

In a press statement made available to our medium in Jos the Plateau state capital on Tuesday and signed by Emmanuel Sunday, the student Union body of Igala Students  accused the SUG of collecting bribe to impose unpopular candidate by going on air that the association of Igala students of the university of Jos has already endorsed Yahaya Bello which is not true position.

 

He said, the president of the associated had refuted that never a time they came together to endorsed the candidature of Governorship candidate of the All Progressives Congress, APC, in the person of Gov Yahaya Bello.

 

The Igala students Union vehemently said their association hasn’t met anywhere to come up with such an expensive jock of singling out a particular candidate of a political party without due consultation with stakeholders of the Igala nation, he added.

 

The statement urged Igala students Union to disregard such publication as unfounded rumors by some enemy of Igala nation to bring about causing unnecessary crisis for them.

 

The students described as unfortunate the level of underdevelopment under the present leadership of APC regime by calling on Igala to be wise in the forthcoming election by electing a credible candidate of Engr Musa Wada of the PDP.
