IDPs Beg For Job Opportunity As NSCDC, Immigration Take Queue To Donate Relief Materials  Them

IDPs asked for recruitment in to paramilitary organisations as the the Nigerian Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC) and the Nigeria Immigration Service donate relief items to camps.

The para military chiefs had pledged to assist the IDPs when they accompanied the Interior Minister, Dambazau to the camps ‎recently.

In fulfilling the pledge, the Commander General of NSCDC, Abdullahi Muhammad Gana presented bags of rice and cooking oil to the displaced persons at Malkohi camp in Yola.

Gana who was represented by the Adamawa State Commandant, Muhammadu Durumin-Iya said the corps shared the grief of those who lost familiy members and property to insurgency.

“We are here in fulfilment of a promised made and pronounced by the Minister of interior, urging all the service chiefs under his ministry to support the IDPs in Yola.” He said‎

Durimi also said that training of their men in Jaji will soon commence to go back to the battle field in other to support sisters security organisations to totally Wade off  Boko  Haram in the country.

Earlier on, the state Comptroller of Immigration‎, Ubi Ukpi had donated sewing machines for the training programme at the camp as part of the pledge made by the Comptroller General, Martins Kure.
