The group decried that, the recent distribution of relief materials to displace persons in eight LGA’s of the state with the exclusion of Tafawa-Balewa and Bogoro LGA’s of the state justify serious discrimination to other ethnic nationalities that are predominantly Christian.
President of the group Mr Raymond Josiah made the statement while briefing newsmen in Bauchi said, it is glaringly that the distribution of the relief materials to the IDP’s worth N350 million clarify that only section of the religion are made to enjoy such gestures from FG.
The president added that hundreds of victims of attackers including insurgency Inhabitant in those areas appear to have been culpably neglected following series of attacks by faceless militants.
“It wrong for a responsible government to exclude victims of insurgency from our axis even when the crisis has been for a long time, yet with the recent invasion of the areas by the insurgency during the march election where innocent people were killed without any relief materials till date” Josiah fumed.
If the measure was to cushion the effect of the victims of the insurgency as claim by PINE, then why same is not extended to our areas which suffers attacks in several years.
According to the group, there is need for FG to carry its citizens equally without discrimination as a demonstration to APC blueprints.
