I Would Remain Worthy Representative At The Red Chamber-Governor Al-Makura

The senate-elect representing Nasarawa South senatorial district, governor Umaru Tanko Al-Makura says he would remain a worthy representative of the people of Nasarawa South senatorial zone.

 

Al-Makura hinted this during the coronation and presentation of staff of office to the 17th Emir of Lafia, Honorable Justice Sidi Bage at the Lafia square.

 

The outgoing governor of the State whose second term of office expires on May 29th 2019 eulogies the people of the zone for their remarkable support and cooperation

 

Urging the people to shower similar gesture to his successor when he assumed the mantle of leadership on May 29th 2019.

 

“Is my hope and expectation that similar gesture would be extended to my successor”..

 

“Let me also express my appreciation to the people of Nasarawa South Senatorial Zone for the confidence reposed on me to continue to render service to them as the Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria”.

 

“I assure you that I will continue to make you proud as your worthy representative at the red chamber”. he insisted.

 

The new Emir in his vote of thanks, lauded the outgoing governor for finding him worthy to takes over from his predecessor, the 16th Emir of Lafia, Alh.Dr Isa Mustapha Agwai I who died on the January 10th 2019.

 

The governor of Nasarawa State , Bauchi and Deputy governors of Benue, Plateau, Honorable Justices and representatives from Borno State and prominent monarchs also attended the inspection of the ongoing multi million naira Lafia central mosque.
