I Will Invest My Life To Transform Youth In My Constituency-Hon ID Gyang
The Federal House of Representative Member, representing Riyom /Barkin Ladi constituency, Hon Istifanus D. Gyang has charged students to emulate the teaching and fear of God by studying very hard to prepare themselves for the task of becoming future leaders as he gave scholarship to 300 indigenes of two local governments of his constituency.
The member tasked politicians ,people of his constitutional to eschew violence and embrace one another for peace to reign by advising the youth to live a Godly life of imbibing attitude of positive thinking to encourage cordial relationship amongst them.
Hon. Gyang disclosed that the Students Education Enhancement and Scholarship Award presentation and 3rd Anniversary of his constituency briefing was to express his desire to celebrate students that are committed to their studies.
He said at the moment, about 300 students from his constituents have benefited from the Scholarship award and intendeds to expand the tentacles before 2019 to accommodate many people others.
Hon Gyang revealing that they the beneficiaries are students studying at various higher institutions of learning in the Nigeria and abroad, ranging from PHD, Masters and Undergraduate programmes.
He said, said his desire to seek the mandate to represent his people is to give them a quality representation, saying the s has so far been manifested from the number of bills he has sponsored in the House of Representatives since after he has been elected three years ago.
According to him, the most recent but critical to Nigerians is to make an act to ensure that the federal government of Nigari, rehabilitate and reconstruct homes and people that are destroyed as a result of violent extremism being perpetuated by Book Haram and Fulani attackers.
“I made a strong case that for the President cannot implement the N10billion meant to rehabilitate communities devastated by violent crimes without visiting my constituency”
He said in the last three years he has also make significant mark in rural infrastructures, water and sanitation, education, health security, among others l, and appeal to his constituency, not to indulge in cattle rustling, land grabbling or any act that could bring misunderstanding among the people.
He said, it is only in the atmosphere of peaceful coexistence that the state and the nation will move forward, stressing that he is committed to the wellbeing of the people, and that as the 2019 draws closer he is hopeful to completing all the ongoing projects under his supervision
He charged to reason, along with him and plays a progressive minded politics to ensuring that that elected in 2019 are people with integrity and democratically minded to build and nurture the society to the next level.
“I topped the numbers of bills in the House with the hope that the N10 billion promised to be release for IDPs will start in my constituency which is getting to decades of under siege by crisis leading to loss of lives and destruction of properties,” he added.
