The People Democratic Party ,Central Senatorial Candidate Amb. G.Y. Gottom has assured that he would deliver on his campaign promises when elected as a senator f the Federal Republic of Nigeria with the green chamber in the forthcoming general elections .
Giving the assurance on Sunday at Plateau State Polytechnic, Barkin Ladi ,Jos Campus ,Twin theatre hall during a townhall interactive session with Pankshin voters in Jos .
Gottom lamented the deplorable state of Plateau rural communities especially the absence of industry , adding that he would work with Federal agencies to lobby and attract projects if given the mandate .
According to him, i will address challenges of underdevelopment in Plateau Central senatorial district and create road networks across to Link villages to improve the social lives .
Drumming up support for the election of PDP Presidential candidate ,Alh .Atiku Abubakar as a senator ,we shall reposition our local markets to attract investors, adding that he would ensure the dreams and aspirations of the people of the Plateau central were achieved.
“I will fulfill the promises made to you. Your dreams will be realized. Plateau central is going down. They don’t know the way, the knowledge, or the road to development. We know the way.
“Go to other constituencies and see records of development and prosperity. I am here, hope is here, prosperity is here .”
He also called on the people to vote for him and all candidates of the party in the state.
Amb Gottom has emphasized on a plan to deliver the Plateau Central to the People Democratic Party ,PDP ,by providing the package ,Hitech digital representation and promise to promote agricultural through mechanics system.
He pointed out ,how Dubai was developed into a modern city to attract investors ,clinic system that is well computerize and people eat good food .
“The economy of the world today is developed and driven by the private sector, rocks can be transformed into income generation.
Transfer of technology to the people at grassroots by training them outside the show of Nigeria to revamp back our economic “.
He also assured of building mechanics village and technology college to help produce items, we focus more on finished goods from China that cost backward to our government, he said.
Gottom expressed concern why the kidnapping business won’t stop because there are people who see it as a locative business and he says no nation would develop without the use of a computer to swallow up and develop drone techniques to bomb the hideouts of terrorist camps.
He said there is a serious need to reposition the market structure to accommodate daily business of boosting income of women and youths to engage them on how to tackle poverty and unemployment .
