Labaran Maku, the erstwhile Minister of Information is the Governorship flagbearer of APGA; in his speech he said he was forced leave the PDP due to manipulation, lack of truth, and sentiment exhibited by the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, during the governorship primaries.
“I personally furnished a house called PDP and I was chased out of the house by a monster (snake), very soon many people will leave the way I left,” he said.
Labaran Maku gave the hint while declaring his intention to vie for the governorship of the State under APGA at Manyi Hotel; he challenged the PDP and the ruling APC for beaming their searchlight on him.
The governor hired some journalists to government House to write all sort of reports against me, why are those parties concerned about me, we are two different things.
I am the person that will rescue the state from her present predicament that is a cog-wheel to their growth of the state.”
He however opined that he would ensure positive change.

The erstwhile Minister blamed his Eggon brothers for supporting the candidacy of governor Al-Makura in 2011, I warned my people in 2011 to support Akwe Doma but they refused and voted Al-Makura.
“Nasarawa state which we built was far better than what was obtainable under Al-Makura, ourstate has collapsed in the last three years under APC.”
Maku identified the backwardness of the state to bad leaders occupying the exalted seat of a governor; he identified the situation in Nasarawa State as a survival of the fittest as some people bring mercenaries and cultist to destroy the state.
“The Governorship flagbearer apportioned blame on the Chief Executive for igniting crisis in Nasarawa South and extended to Northern and Western Zone.
“The Eggons and Fulanis are living peacefully in my country home Wakma in Nasarawa Eggon Local government, Labaran MAKU attested that his cardinal blueprint are justice for all, total peace and transformation.
