The Executive Chairman of Kokona Local Government Area of Nasarawa State, Honorable Awal Adamu has said he would accord attention to rural roads if given the second chance to lead his people again, saying he built bridges to linked communities which he described as peasants.
Adamu stated this during an interview with Universal Reporters Online, He in addition said that the building of bridges in the localities was to carry everybody along.
The Chairman while giving the breakdown of his barely three years of stewardship confirmed that he has touched the lives of the people in almost all ramifications.
Honorable Awal Adamu however lauded the executive Governor of Nasarawa State for the bold steps he took to quell insecurity that bedeviled the Local Government, he attested security challenges are a thing of the past.
According to him, “The State Governor deserved applause for his prompt and proactive approach to secure Kokona Local Government from the hands of criminals threatening the well-being of the people.
He also commended the executive Governor of the State for the execution and commissioning of Garaku-Gurku-Dari 15Km N3.6bn, Noted the commissioning of the neglected road by successive governments.
