Kwande while speaking told the PDP faithful, not to be surprised “If Governor Simon Lalong the incumbent Governor of Plateau state and I defect to the PDP anytime soon.”
“However, with the way things are going now in Nigeria, people should not be surprised if they see Governor Lalong and I in the PDP.
Speaking to the party faithful on Atiku Abubakar electioneering campaign to Plateau state to canvas for delegates vote ahead of presidential primaries he lamented that as a leader of the Goemai Speaking natives ,he was left to take a concrete decision whether to follow Atiku or abandon Governor Simon Lalong but he is my son .
“I took the hand of Governor Simon Bako Lalong to the former vice president but today the former leader defected back to PDP which gave me a serious concern, You all are surprised to see me here in PDP, “he explained .
He added that he was fighting the PDP secretly but today I have been exposed no more hiding of myself, if there is anyone who say in his mind that I am not with Atiku Abubakar that person is a mad person.
I had many allegation against me being peddled that if Atiku Abubakar come what will he say ?,I want to remind you this gathering that all aspirants both PDP,APC come to visit me, so my hands are tied because one is my son and then the other is my political partner.
Kwande revealed that he is still holding the membership of APC, and he is afraid to denounce his membership , Atiku Abubakar has push me into confusion because of choice either him or my Son Lalong.
He explained further that the choice of Atiku Abubakar will help to unite Nigeria; “please, I will soon return my son Lalong to our home because this is someone I presented to you in PDP.
As a leader of Goemai my hearts bleed for going away to join APC but I will hold his hand and bring him back home ,Kwande said .
