Hundreds Of Shi’ite In Nasarawa State Protest The Continue Detention of El Zakzaky, Other Members

Again members of the Islamic Movement of Nigeria in Nasarawa state joined their counterparts cut across the thirty six states of the federation including Abuja protesting over the illegal detention of their leader in spite of court order that ordered for the immediate release of Sheik Ibraheem El-Zakzaky,his wife and other members of the movement.

Members of the movement were seen carrying placards with different inscriptions lambasting the led federal government for disobeying court order, the group, comprising of women, youths and children, gathered at the popular Lafia eid prayer ground along Shendam road.

The IMN in Lafia are chanting praises of the embattled leader as well demanding for the unconditional release of their leader and other members who were in custody for over eight months.

They peaceful protesters are chanting songs and blocking one lane of Super cinema road leading to new market road down to roundabout and back to Lafia eid ground.

The group in Nasarawa state said they Shiites allayed fear that the health condition of Zakzaky is deteriorating due to gunshot wounds he sustained and vow to continue to show their allegiance to Sheik Zakzaky.

“We will never rest until our leader and others are freed as sang in Hausa, Arabic and English languages.
