Human Capital Development Organizes Job Fair, Graduate 100 Youths In Nasarawa

Nasarawa State Deputy Governor, Dr. Emmanuel Akabe has admonished the 100 youths trained by the Human Capital Development.

 

He disclosed this while declaring closed the three weeks training workshops organized for the 2021 employability and Entrepreneurship training programme for 100 Youths in Nasarawa state, he tasked them to utilize the opportunity given to them by the Human Capital Development and Oxfam and Poise Nigeria.

 

Dr Emmanuel Akabe commended Oxfam and Poise Nigeria for instilling prerequisites knowledge on youths,he however appreciate Oxfam and Poise Nigeria for extending the partnership with the state for a period of three years.

 

The Deputy governor eulogies the collaborators for their intention to  cite Information, Communication and Technology Academy in the state, saying the ICT academy was meant to shaker idleness

 

The Senior Special Assistant to the governor and Focal Person on Human Capital Development, Hajiya Habiba Balarabe Suleiman has appreciated the wholistic effort of Nasarawa state governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for supporting youths empowerment under the 2021 Job Fair and employability and Entrepreneurship training.

 

Habiba stated that the stride to accelerate the development of youth in the state remains the cardinal objective of the current administration under the headship of Abdullahi Sule.

 

The SSA commended the State governor, Engineer Abdullahi Sule for winning the prestigious Zik Leadership award, describing the award as well deserved.

 

Habiba stated that the State would very soon benefit from an Information Communication Technology (ICT) Academy which will be managed for a period of four years.

 

The SSA further explained that 100 unskilled citizenries would benefit from the olive branches of Oxfam,She however maintained that an innovation hub will be established.

 

” The beneficiaries will know more about work value, monitoring and evaluation shared, she further explained that governance is been felt by the most vulnerable..

 

Maryam Cinaka, the head of business of Oxfam and Poise said unemployment is with us, She said 17,000 Youth were trained in Lagos, Edo, and Nasarawa state.

 

Adding that the bureau for statistics has revealed that youth are given essential goals and skills, she said the unemployed ratio was 18.8 percent while in 2020 it was 21.1 percent.

 

The Emir of Lafia retired Justice Sidi Bage commended the state government and Oxfam and Poise Nigeria, the representative of the Paramount ruler, the Sagarin Shabu, Umar Mohammed Bwallah,said.
