How Wase As An Agrarian LGA Is Suffering From Water Scarcity-Council Chair, Buba

The Chairman of Wase Local Government Council Hon. Dr. Ado Abubakar Buba has said Wase as an Agrarian LGA has been suffering water scarcity, as he said he is working hard to improve on social intervention for youth empowerment, health care delivery as well trying to tackle the issue of water scarcity and poor infrastructures.

 

He disclosed that he left his medical practice as an orthopedic surgeon to join politics in other to serve humanity and contribute positively to the development of the rural populace.

 

Speaking to media on Monday at his residence in Jos North Local Government Area, Dr. Bubs said, what prompted him to venture into politics is his passion to transform the lives of people at the grassroots and that why I decided to abandon my position as a medical practitioner to go into politics.

 

He reiterated that his desire to provide service delivery to the people and touch the lives of the common man especially the vulnerable in the society strengthened his ambition to focus on restructuring the rural health care delivery.

 

According to him, while acting as the Chairman of Wase about 56 comprehensive Primary health care centers were constructed which he said is now serving as an intervention for the people in Wase LGA.

 

Dr. Ado Abubakar Buba told this medium that; “we have been able to restore peace to all the communities, we are going to introduce a social interactive session to reunite the people with the new policy.

 

Dr Buba assured that he is going to block all loopholes revenue leakages in the council and develop new strategy for revenue generation.

 

He said APC had a lot of votes in Wase,   which he said is the highest against his opponent in PDP, Hon Saidu Musa, who I defeated with wide margin as he also added that they have promised to deliver Wase for the APC in the forthcoming election.

 

Dr. Buba added that on the issue of local government autonomy, they have constituted and sworn in supervisory councilors waiting for the devolution of power for more dividends of democracy to touch the lives of people.

 

Dr. Ado Buba added that the people of Wase LGA are soliciting for the support of federal and state government intervention to provide them with motorized boreholes to help address the problem of water scarcity.
