A stray bullet on Wednesday killed a Police officer in a clash between traders and security personnel in the Terminus market.

The JMDB embarked on an operation to clean up the state capital in promoting commercial activities in the state land in exchange for a battle that lasted several hours before the situation was brought under control by Security agencies drafted to relocate the traders into temporary sites.

However, this medium gathered that the Police officer died and several were injured as roadside traders and security personnel clashed in the terminus.

It was a misfiring by DSS that hit the mobile police officer in his head directly leading to his instant death on the spot.

Our medium revealed that a police officer died and several others sustained various degrees of injuries as roadside traders and security personnel clashed in the terminus.

Afford to reach out to security agencies to comment on the misfiring by DSS that hit the mobile in his head met no answer from them.

“You would recall that, in 2010 and 2013 a bomb blast occurred in the same market causing the deads of traders and passengers plying the Jos /Bukuru route.

“Then, Boko Haram claimed responsibility for the incident including Angwan Rukuba and Kabong Market that the people resumed business activities in the open space wreaking havoc to motorized,”

The General Manager JMDB, Hart Bankat explained further that the exercise aims to decongest the town free from illegal selling of goods on the roads blocking easy traffic.
