A young man Chibuzo Nwaneri was on Wednesday,24th July 2019, allegedly victimized some Police officers at Iho Divisional Police Sub-Station in Ikeduru LGA, Imo State.
Chibuzo, an indigene of Uzoagba who is 24 years of age from Ikeduru LGA in Imo State, was molested, harassed and victimized by some Police officers who alleged that he and his two colleagues are armed robbers.
Information has it on record that Chibuzo Nwaneri, until his ugly encounter with the a Police, is a Technician, a drummer and a guitarist who disclosed that he was returning from his church night vigil at Atta Ikeduru, in the earlier hours on Tuesday morning when a police man intercepted their motorcycle with his Toyota car and forced them to join him to the station, where he said that Nwaneri and his two of colleagues were under arrest.
It therefore gathered that the police later arrested Chibuzo Nwaneri, and his two colleagues and allegedly maltreated him with hot salt and supposedly liquid substance presumed to be acid, according to a source who pleaded anonymity.
Meanwhile, efforts to reach the Imo Command PPRO to get his reaction proved abortive.
