The issues arising from the 2023 general election indicates that Nasarawa State remains the home of PDP, Though the Social Democratic Party has springs surprised in Nasarawa West senatorial seat, including the House of Representatives of Karu/Keffi/Kokona and House of Assembly seats of Toto/Gadabuke and Udege/Loko.

The ruling party completely lost grip of the party structure in the State Onlookers attributed the outcome of the 2023 general election in favor of the SDP as a vendetta to the actions of the national Chairman of the APC,Abdullahi Adamu , an action that foist some prominent members of the party to jump ship.
The outcome of the 2023 election in Nasarawa is a clear signal that Senator Wadada is still in control of Keffi politics.
The number one APC man in the country, Senator Abdullahi Adamu was amongst those that suffers serious defeat, which some people reffered to an end to the political carrier of Adamu.
Abdullahi Adamu is out to fight the immediate past Governor of the State who was at the forefront and the first to show interest for the number one seat of the party, opinion shapers are of the view that the APC may loose her bearing by 2027 as the party is eyeing Dr. Faisal Shuaibu as the Governorship candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress, This the same seat, the likes of Senator Ahmed Aliyu Wadada is eyeing.
Feelers are of the opinion that Wadada may likely dump his party, The SDP back to the APC to actualize his Gubernatorial ambition, while in the PDP , Arc. Mohammed Jafar Ibrahim, a former member House of Representatives from Toto under the auspices of PDP is also gathering momentum as well Bar. Labaran Magaji, a public prosecutor in the office of the Minister of Justice of the Federation.
The PDP likewise the SDP has spring surprises with the numbers of members of the national and State Assembly, The SDP has two senators, two House of Representatives and three House of Assembly members at the State , while the PDP has one senator, eight House of Assembly members and The APC produce three House of Representatives and eleven House of Assembly members and the New Nigeria People’s Party has two House of Assembly members also.
The opposition political parties that is the PDP,SDP and NNPP are having edge over the ruling party which is having eleven members with the oppositions having thirteen State lawmakers.
An analyst is of the opinion that the second coming Engineer Abdullahi Sule may be a second term of bumper harvest with the conglomeration of lawmakers cut across the four political parties.
