An ex-commissioner of Special Duties under former Governor Kwankwaso`s administration Idris Bello Dambazzau has lambasted the 44 Kano State Assembly Members as he said they have done nothing to the common man in the State in the past one year and nine months since they were elected by the good people of Kano State except enriching themselves with Kano money.

Speaking further to newsmen at a press briefing today, he accused the lawmakers of collecting a bribe of N150 million from the State Governor Dr. Abdullahi Umar Ganduje in order to cover him up in an unmentioned scandal he was involved.

The ex-commissioner stated that according to his source this is not the first time that the state governor is giving the members bribe so as to cover him from his so many scandals that he is afraid to let the public know.

“It has been almost 2 years since this government came in to power but there is nothing you can see on ground to show that this government done has done for the people of Kano state,” he said.

“This is the simple example that I can give you to prove myself that this administration is only benefiting themselves as well as those surrounding it.

It would be recalled the Kano State House of Assembly Majority Leader Honourable Yusuf Abdullahi Ata on behalf of the entire State Assembly asked the former commissioner to apologize to House in the next one week or face legal redress, according to Ata, he said Mr. Dambazzau’s allegations are baseless, calling insult to the Honourable members as well as the good people of Kano state.

But the former commissioner at the briefing today, stated thus;  “I stand on my words that they collected such amount, no going back, and the issue of giving me one week is too much they supposed to give me 7 minutes.”
