An alleged dubious landlord in Bukuru Community, of Jos South LGA Alh Kabiru Hassan Nasiru sold his building to Mr. Tuesday John for the total sum of N4.8 million, but has refused to vacate the building.
The allegation of fraud was reported by Mr. John Omubelle, a resident of Bukuru, Jos South LGA, that one Comrade Kabiru Hassan Nasiru’s put his house in Bukuru for sale through an agent, by name Mr. Surajo Ibrahim .
John told our correspondent that sometime on October 12/102022, Surajo Ibrahim an agent to Kabiru Hassan Nasiru’s a House agent advertised, that he has a house for sale, Tuesday John indicated interest to buy the said property.
According to law, the action of the Alh Kabiru was described as a criminal breach of trust having sold the house and he refused vehemently to vacate the said building for the new buyer.
The act contravenes sections (306), (296), and (376) of the Penal code law of plateau State”2017 which is punishable with imprisonment.
Mr. Tuesday John reported to Nigeria Police Divisional Headquarters of Jos South Local Government Area in Plateau State seeking for them to investigate him over an alleged N4.8 million fraud.
We appeal to the authority to arrest and prosecute the suspect for his actions of suspicious and fraudulent activities committed against the Complainant.
According to his complaint, lodged against Comrade Kabiru Hassan Nasiru, allegedly obtaining 2,710,000,00 through false presence, cheating, and criminal intimidation.
Following a result, Mr. Tuesday believed Comrade Kabiru Hassan Nasiru, and make payment of the sum of- (Two million five hundred Thousand Naira Only) which he acknowledge receipt of the said money through a bank payment of the Comrade Kabiru bank account.
Comrade Kabiru Hassan Nasiru also deceived Mr. Tuesday John to pay an additional (N210,000,00) Two hundred and ten thousand Naira as legal and agency fees.
Since then, Comrade Kabiru has been behaving funny toward Mr. Tuesday John, and began to intimidate and harass him that he can do anything.
Comrade Kabiru Hassan claimed that he is close to the top security agents in Nigeria he cannot be arrested.
Comrade Kabiru Hassan Nasiru, confidently told Mr. Tuesday John, that he should go to hell that he can never give him the house and his money, that there is no house for him he should go to, or else his boys would harass him.
Since the year 2020, getting to two years now, Tuesday John can’t get the house, nor neither his money back after collecting the huge amount and he is constantly issuing threats and intimidating John the buyer.
According to information, Comrade Kabiru is still collecting the house rent of the said house for the period in which he claimed to have sold the house to Mr. Tuesday.
He cried out that the Kabiru Hassan has stopped picking up the complainant’s calls now and he kept sending people to the complainant intimidating him that he is rich and untouchable he should know that he has done that to several people not even crayfish of his type.
