The petitioners alleged that they discovered that the system was highly corrupted to the extent that in some electoral wards only two names of authentic party ward Executives were found on the delegate list duly endorsed by the state executives.

In their narrative; “while we were waiting for the report of the Arch Pam Dung Gyang committee of 18th November, 2017, the state rescheduled fresh primaries on 21st November, 2017 in Jos at Yelwa club and was later relocated to Pankshin LGA.

According to them, Mohammed Abdullahi Barau was not qualified to contest 18th November, Congresses but suddenly resurfaced from the Hon Yusuf Gagdi’s  manufacturing list to emerged on the rescheduled primaries of 21st in Pankshin.

The wards Chairmen in Kanam Local Government Council of Plateau state have petition the state chapter Chairman, Hon Latep Dabang on the councillorship /chairmanship delegates, alleged electoral committee but they are of the view that their might have compromised their position.

The statements said the contention of the petitioner’s alleged claim that voting had commenced by the delegates when all of a sudden violence erupted and the entire exercise was brought to hold.

“We challenged that the process of accreditation was almost concluded when a strange aspirant in the person of Mohammed Abdullahi Barau was then introduced midway into the delegates primaries as they raised observation challenging the act, as well sending two protest letters to register their grievances whereby they also seeks for cancellation of the whole exercise as they said it was marred by impunity, imposition of candidates to them.

“We hereby complained that the winner didn’t participate in the 18th November, 2017 but contested after 4:56pm when the delegates have completed screening and were about to start.”

  • Admin of this publication stop the spread of this lies against Hon. Gagdi. Those delegates the Hon. Gagdi defended were the authentic APC delegates approved by the EXCO and those Abass team presented were the fake ones. The Hon. Gagdi delegates are the founding members/EXCOs of APC in all Wards of Kanam LGC. Abass team are just joining the party with intention to contest election for Chairmanship. Mark my words Abass team in 2015 fought against HE Governor Lalong Election as they preferred GN Pwajok who they urged their people to vote for and they did massively. How can they come to like HE Governor Lalong more than the Hon. Gagdi's team. Stop the lies and falsehood against Hon. Gagdi and the APC Sak Group in Kanam LGC please.
