The state government has deployed security personnel at all the entrances of Plateau State High Court to keep surveillance of the movement of peaceful democrats who are coming to witness proceedings.
However, Hon Ubandoma Joshua Laven supporters who are always present couldn’t come due to fear of the unknown because the government was alleged plan to wreak havoc.
The Tarok people demonstrated their refusal by calling on Governor Simon Lalong to swear in Hon Ubandoma Joshua and return him as the lawful winner of LG election conducted by Hon Fibian Ntung Ari which the alleged was characterized of over-voting, indiscriminate nonadherence to the electoral act.
Besides, this ugly development ravaging the political scene in Tarok Nation, Hon Amos Nanloh Kparnim has been spending Langtang North Local Government resources by hiring thugs and counsels to distort as well as remain in office, since he was imposed by the ruling party to scar the wheels of progress.
Information revealed that the Chairman is not committed to the wellbeing of the council and stakeholders are left alone complaining.
It was gathered that Langtang North Local Government Council (Tarok Land ) would be far away from human development and dividends of democracy when those who are supposed to help build the progressive and unity of the people are the one fanning the ember of clans and ethnicity agenda.
