Hon Shehu Bala  Rejoices  With  Ag.  President , Court Of Appeal Justice Monica Dongban-Mensem

The Management Committee Chairman of Jos North Local Government Council Shehu Bala Usman has described the recent appointment of Hon Justice Monica Dongban- Mensem by President Muhammadu Buhari as the acting President of the Court of appeal as  timely and well deserving.

 

The President’s approval of the appointment of Justice Dongban-Mensem, followed the recommendation of the Chief Justice of Nigeria in line with the provisions of section 238(4)&(5) of the 1999 Constitution as amended.

 

Usman in statement issue to journalist in Jos said Justice Mensem undoubted ability, credibility and dynamism with exceptional leadership skills and vision in the judiciary has been noticed.

 

The Chairman said he is of the belief that Justice Mensem will bring an era of selfless service with genuine desire to transform and redefined judiciary to discharge her Civic responsibility with honesty and utmost pride.

 

Usman further decribed Justice Mensem as calm, measure, compassionate,an excellent administrator whose vision is to  always ensured that the country’s image never came in disrepute in the dispensing  of Justice to all manner of people without fear or favour.

 

The Chairman equally identify with Governor Simon Bako Lalong of Plateau state and Chairman Northern Governors Forum, the entire Goemai nation and indeed plateau people towards this remarkable position of the second highest Court in country noted that Justice Mensem is a plateau  daughter will not disappoint Nigerians rather she will deliver her duties with vigour, transparency, diligence, patriotism and with sense of professionalism to restore trust of the common Man in the judiciary.

 

Usman assured  Governor Lalong of Jos North Local Government prayer to enable her succeed in her new assignment.
