Hon Dati Urges Youths To Be Vanguard Of Transformation Of Their Society

The Plateau State Commissioner for information and communication Hon Yakubu Dati has charged youths to be the vanguard of transformation and be productive to the society themselves, parents and make the government be proud of them by avoiding drugs addiction and peer group influence.

Addressing the House of Congress, Tudun Wada Youth on a courtesy visit to the ministry of information and communication on Thursday at the Joseph Gwomwalk Secretariat, he said we are proud of Plateau Youth and called on them to stand out as one of the best in the country, at a time like this youth will be agent of change or to become a big problem to their parents, the government and to the community.

He assured them that the state government under the able leadership of Governor Simon Lalong had already promised to partner with them to achieve success in the area of development of the state.

Hon Dati commended the Tudun Wada youth for organizing extra Moral classes to teach other upcoming youth but tasked other youth to try to emulate the contribution of the Tudun Wada youth.

He revealed that the government of APC has planned for the youth in the state and at the national by asking them to avoid drugs and stop destroying their useful age in drinking.

He maintains that the Governor Simon Lalong is also a youth like you who need the votes from you to enable him to perform credibly well after they support him 2019 as he cautioned them to focus their attention on education which is the bedrock of development.

The Commissioner promised to involve the youth on programs especially promoting entrepreneurial education where they can learn skills that would make them productive to the society.

The Chairman Comrade, Kefas Mwalret Dagit said they decided to present themselves to the government as a way of identifying with the leadership Governor Simon Lalong administration to foster unity and development of the state.

According to him, Tudun Wada which is the closest to the administrative headquarters had suffered years of neglect and abandonment by the past government and considering Lalong developmental strides they want to be part his vision of transforming the state.

Dagit explained further that the visit was to strike a balance of engaging more area vocational training, we also organized a summer lesson to all the secondary school students for them acquit acquiring knowledge.
