Heavy Downpour Destroyed Houses In Malam Madori Council In Jigawa

Incessant Heavy downpours have destroyed and flooded many communities in Malam Madori Local Government area of Jigawa state.

The heavy downpour that started around 3:00 midnight to morning hours has destroyed many houses and the flood took over the school in the areas.

Some areas affected by the flood disaster are Kampala quarters, Tudun Ghana as many unrecorded Communities were flooded with water.

The Local education secretary Isah Muhammad who confirmed the story stated that the majority of schools were flooded with water like Kadawa primary school and others.

More in some parts of the Garun-gabas area the rainfall destroyed many houses too as many communities flooded with water and sought assistance.

The legislative leader, Malam Madori Local Government Council Sadi Ibrahim Maitafsiri has directed all councilors to report any incidence affecting their communities with immediate effect.

The council chairman of Malam Madori Local Government, Hussain Umar Bk also paid a sympathy visit to communities affected by the incident and pledged to take necessary action to forestall future occurrences.
