Handover: Governor Al-Makura Spends Chunk of money On Repainting of Public Buildings

Barely four days to the handing over of baton of leadership of the Shendam road seat of power to his successor, the outgoing governor, Umaru Tanko Al-Makura has earmarked undisclosed amount to the repainting of public buildings in the State capital.

 

The State capital is wearing a new look right from the fence of  College of Agriculture, Lafia and the Nasarawa State Polytechnic, Lafia along Jos road to the fence of moribund Lafia hotel.

 

Other buildings which wear new looks are the fence of the State Ministry of Information, Culture and Tourism along Shendam road.

 

City Hall along Shendam road also benefited from the last minute project, others are the fence of Nasarawa State Hospital Management Board also along Shendam road, Lafia

 

The fence of Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital, Lafia and Ibrahim Abacha Youth Centre are also looking better.

 

Science School, Nasarawa Eggon, the newly completed Orphanage Home sharing fence with the Al-Makura personal house at GRA and some of the new structures completed inside Dalhatu Araf Specialist Hospital wears the same paint which cost undisclosed Amount.

 

Also, courts 1,2, 3 and Magistrate court 5, Pension Bureau and the former premises of Pension Bureau were painted in Ashe and blue color.

 

Onlookers in the State continued to ponder over the decision of the outgoing governor,Umaru Tanko Al-Makura to bought not less than 2 trailer loads of paint for the project.

 

Describing the ongoing painting as a bogus and unapproved project which he said are not the priority of the State currently.

 

It could be recalled that most of the public buildings along the major roads were painted during the visit of President Muhammadu Buhari a few months ago to commissioned Special School for the physically impaired.
