The Chairman, represented by the Commissioner for Operations, Alhaji Abdullahi Saleh, explained that the visit became necessary in order to improve service delivery and urged the pilgrims to always report observed areas of deficiency back to the agency.

Meanwhile, the Lagos State Amir-ul-Hajj, Dr. AbdulHakeem AbdulLateef has announced that the death of a female pilgrim in Saudi Arabia, stating that the deceased Lawal Mulikat Shade, 56, was hypertensive, slumped and died on the way to performing onee of the hajj rites at Jamarat.
