Hajiya Fatima Gindiri Commends Plateau Govt For Introducing Data Capturing /Monitoring To Reduce Crime

The Chairman of Tricycle Owners, Riders Association in Nigeria, Hajiya Fatima Idris Gindiri has commended Governor Caleb Manasseh Mutfwang administration for introducing data capturing and monitoring to ensure that all members of the association are fully registered towards crime safety for all a sundry.

Gindiri stated this during the briefing held at the Joseph Gwomwalk Secretariat in Jos, on Wednesday.

She applauded the readiness of the Mutfwang administration to introduce meaningful program to bring succor and reduce the transportation cost of road users as the purchasing power of fuel pump prices now at exorbitant amount.

Hajiya Fatima Gindiri expressed satisfaction with the leadership of the union by calling on the members to key into the government program and ensure that all Tricycle owners and riders register with the appropriate authority.

According to her, the conversion of a Tricycle machine from fuel to the use of gas would also encourage the owners and riders to bring down the transportation cost to a maximum and affordable price of transport for travelers, especially market women, and men.

Mrs Gindiri assured the government of their willingness to cooperate with the Governor to avail themselves to be captured by the ITC data capturing Monitoring group.

She lamented that the Tricycle owners and riders in Plateau State have suffered at the hands of kidnappers and many lost their lives to local thefts where some were murdered and their dead bodies abandoned to be discovered in nearby bushes by unknown gunmen.

Hajiya Fatima Gindiri reiterated that the gesture would reduce crime and violence in the society because it provide family will daily income and take youth off the streets by engaging them in productive venture.
