Umar Akilu Majeri

The Emir of Hadejia Alhaji Adamu Maje has tasked the people of his Emirate to be law-abiding citizens as well as always be patient and respect the law of God.

The Emir urged the people to always respect their leaders.

The Emir made the statement at the occasion of the Hadejia Emirate Development Foundation, HEDEF event organized by people of Hadejia.

The Emir assured that the next president in 2023 will be produced by the Hadejia people and the position of Jigawa state governor in 2023 will also be produced by Hadejawa.

He added that irresponsible behavior and a nonchalant attitude will never help them in any problem they are facing, but that respect and unity is the only solution to their problems.

Speaking he said that power belongs to God Almighty.

The Emir charged the leaders of the Hadejia development forum to fear God and be honest in their duties as this will help them achieve their objectives.

Also speaking at the occasion, the former Immigration Controller General Alhaji Muhd Babandede thanked almighty Allah who blessed Hadejia people with an Emir who has the foresight and who is a very intellectual person.

He charged the leaders of the Hadejia development foundation to always seek the Emir’s advice in their activities and that by doing so, they will achieve their desired objectives, adding that the Emir has a listening ear and he is ready to assist people.

According to him, Unity is the backbone of any association, as he said that without cooperation they would not achieve their mission.

Babandede, therefore, appealed to the leaders of the foundation to allow strangers and non-indigene to fully participate in the development of the Hadejia because no town or city can develop without settlers, stating further that it is very necessary for them to participate if they can provide their support toward the development of the Emirate.
